BCBSAZ is proud to be named the 2020 winner of the Healthiest Employer award by the Phoenix Business Journal in the large category. A key factor in this award was our employees nearly 100% participation in our wellness program, continuing even during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Modern Healthcare has recognized BCBSAZ among the 150 companies and organizations to its Best Places to Work in Healthcare list for 2020. The recognition program honors companies throughout the industry that empower employees to provide patients and customers with the best possible care, products and services.
AZ Central has named BCBSAZ a 2020 winner for their Top Companies to Work for in Arizona award in the large category. A survey was distributed to employees where 93% of respondents shared BCBSAZ provides programs and opportunities to help them be their healthiest.
2020 Az Business Magazine Ranking Arizona: Top 10 health insurance companies (#1 HMO / #1 PPO)
Every year since 2012, BCBSAZ has been named Arizona’s #1 PPO by Arizona Business Magazine Ranking Arizona poll, the largest business opinion poll in Arizona. This year, BCBSAZ was also recognized as the #1 HMO plan and a finalist for best workplace culture in healthcare.

2019 Az Business Magazine Arizona Healthcare Leaders of the Year: Health insurance Provider of the Year
BCBSAZ was chosen by the editorial board for Az Business Magazine as a Healthcare Insurance Provider of the Year. As an active supporter of the community, BCBSAZ supports more than 200 organizations statewide through volunteering and contributions all with the aim of inspiring health.
