Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona Advantage Expands Medicare Option to Pima County
Beginning October 15 of this year, Medicare-eligible, Pima County residents will have the option to enroll with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona Advantage (BCBSAZ Advantage). The expansion of BCBSAZ Advantage into Pima County gives residents the chance to explore more choice and value in their Medicare options.Currently, more than 20,000 Maricopa County members enjoy the benefits of BCBSAZ Advantage, including enhanced healthcare services and the personalized support that comes with a 4.5 star rating1. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona also offers six Medicare supplement plans and one prescription drug plan (PDP) statewide.“An estimated 165,000 Pima County residents, over the age 65 and Medicare eligible, will soon have the opportunity to learn more about BCBSAZ Advantage,” said Dave Firdaus, chief executive officer for BCBSAZ Advantage. “The quality of services offered within the plan combined with the strength of our business provides value and security. These are attributes we know residents of Pima County are looking for when selecting a Medicare plan.”
